Shipping Information

 

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and are based on what zip code the plants are being shipped to. If you have any problems checking out, please contact us.

 

When will my plants be shipped?

Most plants are shipped at the start of the week and orders placed after Tuesday maybe shipped the following week. If you want your plants shipped at later date, please let us know in the "Order comments", when checking out.

 

Where do you ship plants to?

Plants are shipped through the eastern two-thirds of the United States. Due to agriculture restrictions, plants can't be shipped outside the continental U.S, or to following states: AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, NM, NV, OR, and WA.

 

What type of payments do you accept?

All major credit cards, through PayPal's secure website. There are no hidden fees and you don't need a PayPal account to use your credit card.

 

Can I order over the phone?

No, we're currently not able to take orders over the phone.

 

Can I mail in an order?

Yes, the easiest way is to use the shopping cart to select the plants you want to buy, add shipping and print it out. You can pay with checks and money orders made out to Growing Wild Nursery.

 

What shipping carriers do you use?

  • USPS Priority Mail
  • UPS Ground, for larger orders
  • What about sales tax?

    We propagate our own plants and are not required to collect North Carolina sales tax.

     

    THE FINE PRINT

     

    Do you guarantee your plants?

    We guarantee our plants to be healthy, vigorous, and ready for planting. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee whether a plant will grow in your garden, as weather, pests, and many other factors are beyond our control.

     

    If you have any problems with your order, please contact us within ten days and we'll work with you to find a solution. In no case will our liability be greater than the cost of the plant.

     

    Can I change my order?

    Yes, please contact us as soon as possible. There is no charge to make a change if we haven't already packed your order. Canceled orders that have been pulled for shipping require a 10% restocking fee.

     

    What happens if I enter the wrong address when placing an order?

    We usually catch the mistake and may contact you to verify your address. However, we are not responsible for additional shipping charges when there is an error due to customers entering the wrong address.
